We're doing zoo rounds... making sure that all our captive animals are safe and content in their simulated habitats.This little guy here is on a look-out for predators. And I guess there's no convincing him that he's behind a glass enclosure where about the only danger he's exposed to are pesky tourists with their cameras and flashbulbs. Or a kid intent on showing him her drawing of a snake.
He sure is a cute fella. I convince myself this meerkat is perfectly happy where he is. In a place where no hyena's ever going to have him for lunch.
